More than 3,000 rescuers of various types have arrived at the quake-hit areas after a devastating earthquake hit Gansu and Qinghai provinces late on Monday, according to the Ministry of Emergency Management.
The Dunhuang Calendar 2024, which highlights UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site Mogao Caves in Dunhuang, Gansu province, was recently published by the Dunhuang Academy and Beijing-based CITIC Press Group.
As of 16:00 on Nov 24, the Jiuquan-Hunan HVDC line, China's first large-scale transmission channel for renewable energy, has delivered over 150 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity from Jiuquan, Gansu province, to Hunan province since entering operation in 2017, hitting a new high for cross-regional transmission.
