Jiuquan in Gansu province signed agreements for 37 cooperation projects in sectors such as new energy equipment manufacturing, modern chemicals, and aerospace during the 32nd China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair, held in Gansu's Lanzhou from July 9 to 13.

The city presented its industrial strengths at Jiuquan's exhibition pavilion, highlighting sectors such as new energy, aerospace, and modern chemicals. It also organized more than 20 related activities, including nine investment promotion and business matchmaking events.

During the fair, Jiuquan promoted investment opportunities in areas including renewable energy, chemical industries, mineral resources, and industries enabled by green energy.

The city highlighted various green power-based applications, covering zero-carbon industrial parks, hydrogen energy, new materials, computing power, recycling, and commercial aerospace.

Jiuquan's appeal has attracted companies such as China Resources Recycling Group New Energy Technology (Jiuquan) Co, which focuses on the recycling and reuse of retired wind turbines, photovoltaic equipment, and energy storage systems.

Jiang Dong, chairman of China Resources Recycling Group New Energy Technology (Jiuquan) Co, said that the company decided to build its first recycling base in Jiuquan because of the city's strong renewable energy industry and favorable business environment.
