The first shipment of premium beef cattle departed from Yumen in Jiuquan, Gansu province, on June 11, for Uzbekistan's Andijan region. This marked the launch of the China (Jiuquan)-Uzbekistan (Andijan region) Yumen 100,000-head live cattle export project and Gansu's first large-scale live cattle export, injecting new momentum into China-Uzbekistan agricultural trade cooperation.

In recent years, Yumen has utilized its unique water, soil, and agricultural resources to develop high-quality livestock products through standardized breeding and meticulous management.

This 100,000-head cattle export project exemplifies high-quality development under the Belt and Road Initiative and marks a significant step in exploring the Central Asian agricultural market.

Relevant departments have provided proactive support and precise coordination, including a dedicated green channel for customs clearance. They have also ensured seamless services for quarantine facility upgrades, certification, and inspections, thereby safeguarding the project's implementation.

This initiative aims to propel more premium agricultural products from Yumen, Jiuquan, and Gansu onto the international stage.
