The "Aerospace plus AI" project, highlighting the digital transformation of regional resources from Suzhou district in Jiuquan, Gansu province, was presented at the 2026 World Digital Education Conference held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, from May 11 to 13.

It was the only basic education achievement from Gansu to be featured at the Global Digital Education Achievements Exhibition, showcasing Jiuquan's innovative approach to digital education.

At the exhibition, Xin Chenyu, a seventh-grade student from Jiuquan Sixth Middle School, demonstrated the "Aerospace plus" digital regional resource application device. He explained how project-based learning had helped him better understand intelligent technologies and sparked his interest in geography.

Xin's presentation captivated international guests, who praised Jiuquan students for incorporating local aerospace and new energy resources into their learning. Attendees showed strong interest in the students' aerospace launch models, new energy projects, and other technological innovations, including green housing and space plant breeding.

The project stood out for three main reasons: cultural innovation through VR classes that blend ancient and modern aerospace themes; an AI-powered aerospace education platform supporting all aspects of learning and management; and digital inclusivity that ensures equitable access to quality science education across urban and rural areas, offering a model for balanced educational development.
