To further optimize the layout of the airline network and meet the diverse travel needs of passengers, the Dunhuang Mogao International Airport in Dunhuang city, Northwest China's Gansu province, opened several new flight routes, including Changchun-Xi'an-Dunhuang, Hangzhou-Dunhuang, and Chongqing-Dunhuang on July 1.
The Changchun-Xi'an-Dunhuang flight route by China Eastern Airlines and the Hangzhou-Dunhuang direct flight route by Air China operate on a daily schedule, while the Chongqing-Dunhuang direct flight route by Sichuan Airlines operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays every week.
At present, the airport operates 33 passenger routes, connecting 22 cities and 24 destinations.
