A specialized training course for Mongolian agricultural technicians has commenced in Jiuquan, Northwest China's Gansu province. Seven agricultural technicians from Bayankhongor city, Bayankhongor province, Mongolia, will participate in the eight-day training.
In 2023, Jiuquan and Bayankhongor city began an international sister-city relationship. Jiuquan assisted in constructing two solar greenhouses and guided the construction of 48 arch sheds in Bayankhongor.
A scientific and technological personnel team from Jiuquan Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center, led by Zhang Guosen, has visited Bayankhongor multiple times to provide technical assistance to local agricultural technicians and carry out agricultural technology training according to local climate, soil conditions, and agricultural production requirements in the region.
The training course is the second organized by Jiuquan for agricultural technicians in Bayankhongor. The training covers topics such as organic, ecological soilless cultivation technology, the "one change and three transformations" technique for Gobi solar greenhouses, and solar greenhouse structure and construction technology. The program integrates theoretical learning and practical application.
This collaborative effort strengthens the bonds between the two cities and exemplifies the power of international cooperation in advancing agricultural practices and fostering sustainable development.
