Spring has brought an incredible sight to the Yanchiwan National Nature Reserve in Subei Mongolian autonomous county of Jiuquan, Northwest China's Gansu province as flocks of Tibetan sandgrouse were spotted.
These agile birds, known for their bold behavior, have found a welcoming home in the reserve, thanks to innovative shared management practices between the reserve and the local community.
