In 2023, the Jiuquan division of Qilian Mountains National Park captured an impressive 767 sightings of the elusive snow leopard by analyzing data from 248 infrared cameras. 

Among these sightings, 102 individual snow leopards were identified, marking a significant milestone in conservation efforts.
