Winter sports activities are booming in popularity in Jinta county, Jiuquan, Northwest China's Gansu province, which is home to 10,000 hectares of artificial Populus euphratica forest thanks to generations of efforts.

In the Populus euphratica forest scenic area, adults play with their children, both frolicking and speeding through on sleds and snow tubes. The pristine snowfield is now a frozen ocean of joy.

"Not only can you enjoy skiing here, but also immerse yourself in the breathtaking natural beauty," a visitor remarked. Engaging in ice and snow sports is a good way to boost immunity and serotonin.

The ice and snow carnival is a significant initiative of the county to popularize winter sports and build a comprehensive tourism brand.
